Overview: Excelsior produced a catalog re-design for Michael Wainwright’s custom, porcelain ware products.
Challenge: Michael was attending a trade show in Atlanta, Georgia and needed a hundred copies of the catalogue to bring to the show, which was less than a week away. Excelsior needed to render their non-traditional files into a usable format, quickly expedite proofs, and make changes all in time to print and deliver the job by the designated time. Berkshire County’s unpredictable winter weather conditions happened to fall right in the middle of this process when a Nor’easter snow storm covered the towns in several feet of snow. Due to the storm, FedEx and UPS were closed and Excelsior had no way of getting Michael and his team the proofs.
Solution: In order to meet the deadline an Excelsior employee drove the proofs to Michael to get the OK and brought them back to Excelsior in order to rush them to the press and ensure an on-time delivery.
Results: The customer was happy and very grateful for the dedication of Excelsior. They had their hundred copies of the catalogue for the trade show in Atlanta.
“Excelsior not only pulled me out of several jams, but their staff was professional, helpful and friendly. Excelsior completed the job in a very short period of time, and because we worked directly with them, we needed no graphic designer on the project, thus saving us financially. The overall experience was painless and easy.”
